Seriously though, do we want to give up control of our children to an American KGB? While I'm not a fan of terrorism, what exactly *are* we fighting for? What are the "victory" conditions? I can't say that the Democrats are doing any better than the Republicans on this matter. Why is everyone so "terrified" that we should just give our rights up?

I pose the question, "Is spying, torturing, and killing God's solution?"

I know this is a little late, but don't you think "American KGB" is a little extreme?

There are no victory conditions. There will be no victory. Our men & women are going to stay over there till Bush is outsted at least. What a waste. And the Democrats resolution to do... nothing? What is up with that? At least cut off the man's funds!

To answer the posed question: I haven't talked to God about it lately, but based on His personality, I would say no. But is leaving in the middle of a mess we made over there part of His solution either? It's a catch-22, and we are at the point that there is no graceful way out of this mess. Either way, histoy will look at us as the generation that was doomed to repeat the majoirty of our parent's generation's mistakes. At least there's hope for our kids (I use that term losely, I don't have any children.)
